      Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite l'università. La procedura ha richiesto un giorno. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso HashedIn by Deloitte (Bengaluru) nel mese di nov 2019

      Colloquio

      It was a pool campus Hiring process. There were students from around 12-15 colleges. It started with a written examination of 90 minutes which had questions from DBMS, OS and Input/Output in Section A and three coding questions in Section B. The main weightage was of Section B as they wanted pure coders. After the first round 15 were shortlisted out of around 250. I was amongst them. Then started the interviews. My first two interviews were mainly focused on Data structures and algorithms, mainly Linked list, Tree and Hashmap. After two rounds only 8 were shortlisted. Then there was a third round on System Design which was the toughest rounds, basically it was meant to test your attitude in tough scenarios. After this, there was a fourth interview in which I was asked mainly about my projects and the emerging technologies. Meanwhile I got to know the 6 guys out of the 8 were actually employeed in a different company and there were only two college students, including me. This was really shocking. This wasn't enough. They had also not given the first screening round and were present in the interview because of some referrals. Then I and one more guy of RV were told that we weren't upto the mark and were asked to leave. The other 6 guys who had come through referral had an HR round and were finally selected. The complete day process came upto shortlising candidates who were actually referred from someone in the company and also had some experience working in a different company, which brings me to the point that why did they even conduct a Pool Campus hiring process when they had to hire some experienced guys. ***REFERRALS ARE A KEY TO GET SELECTED OVER HERE***

      Round 1 is usually an Online Assessment (OA) where candidates solve coding or aptitude questions. Round 2 focuses on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) to test problem-solving skills. Round 3 is System Design, where you design scalable systems and explain architecture. Round 4 is the HR round, which evaluates communication, behavior, and cultural fit within the company.
