I had a very positive interview experience with Haven Tech. The recruitment staff was very friendly and honest the whole way through. There were three rounds: 1. Talk with a recruiter and walk through your resume 2. Talk with an engineer and discuss more technical details of past experiences or projects 3. Live coding challenge with two SWEs at the company + more details about a past project

First behavioral on-line interview went really good. Then they scheduled a first on-line technical interview. The HR person behalf of the company mentioned it will include: - Discussing technical aspects of your current role; - System design; - Frontend backend oriented questions; - Framework specific questions, depending on time; However eventually the interview was somewhat about my current role but mostly on algorithms, data structures, design patterns and SQL. Topics that I'm familiar with, just didn't have the chance to go over them since I was expecting a completely different interview. Too bad I spent my weekend preparing for a system design interview and then the interviewer just made up an interview of their own. I think if it is agreed upon that an interview will be about some topics - the interviewer should stick to the plan, as a matter of ethics.
