3 month process. numerous phone and zoom calls, face to face interview, home task (took 3 days), and reference discussions (3 references - they spoke to them twice each)
at the end - they didn't have the decency/minimal respect to call and explain the rejection. they sent a standard ("we were impressed but decided to move forward with others") letter.
