Hellas Gold reached out to me for the Cost Engineer position, and I agreed to proceed with their hiring process. During the first interview, the Talent Acquisition Specialist did not show up, so I completed it solely with the Hiring Manager. As a result, a second interview was scheduled, this time only with the previously absent team member. Immediately after the second interview, I was asked to complete an online assessment. The entire process took about an hour and a half. Although I asked it from the Hiring Manager during the first interview, I have never received any feedback or even an automated rejection email. It's disappointing to be approached for a role, invest time and effort, and then be met with complete silence. Basic communication is an essential part of a respectful and professional hiring process—something that was unfortunately lacking in this experience.
