This was the most bizarre interview/phone screen I've ever had. I received a call from someone in HR that was very difficult to understand. He set up a phone screen and emailed me the invite. The invite was for a different position, and the invite had a time that was in the past....and in a different time zone. I had to call and leave several messages to get ahold of him again, and he sent over a revised invite. We had a nice chat, and he asked me about my background. I went through my elevator speech and he stopped me halfway through and asked me to slow down because he was typing down everything I said verbatim. After hanging up I didn't expect to hear from Henkel again. But then a week later I received an email from a different Henkel HR rep inviting me for a SKYPE interview with some managers. The invite was for a different position than the one I applied for, and in the wrong state. I declined. Not sure what the deal is with this place, but they really need to figure out their phone screen process!
