This is my first interview review to any employer. I am actually writing this review just to let the people know how Hitachi Vantara treats when you are about to get the offer.
1.Interview process were smooth
2.Got selected for role.
3.The profile got selected without even asking the current or offer in hand salary.
4.After completing all the rounds when got selected, and discussed about the offer, then the real problem starts.
5.Question were like
a.If given offer, are you ready to join.(already discussed about the package in the HR discussion, this discussion happened after 6 days gone.)
b.Why are you not joining that company(what if you counter this offer to them)
c.We were not knowing about the offer which you have, even if Hitachi matches, how we will be certain of joining.
d.People are doing the same thing last time also with us, we are not sure if you will join us or not.
e.why were you still exploring even if you had offer in hand.(employer wants immediate joiner and asks this questions on and post 6th day of HR discussion when you were talking to them to get the update on offer letter release)
Suggestions to interviewee : Check with Corporate HR, not the vendor HR(That's what i got to know) before jumping to any interview discussion or else it will be simply waste of time. or else you will end up discussing more with HR rather than the Tech people which is for me not required.
Suggestions to Employer: Either get the checklist done before selecting the profile or else you are loosing both party productivity.
HR should be convincing rather than lagging of confidence.

Overall good, nominal technical questions on technology. Managers round is more on tech stack description and in general. Please prepare well in your main 3 4 tech stack primarily. Salary wise overall can ask as per standards.

Three rounds, first one was Tech round was very interesting and second was tech round with manager simple coding problem and last was discussion with Director which was quite tough. Overall nice experience

It appears to me that Hitachi Vantara is interviewing people for quite some time and for whatever reason they are unable to grow their team. There could be many reasons, either the people declining offers, or they are not getting offered. In my experience, I found the staff member to be quite depressing and passive-aggressive. The recruiters are a bunch of ill-mannered liars. I think you should avoid this place if you possibly can. They take interviews at the Amazon scale and pay at the TCS scale.
