For the first interview someone sits down with you for a few minutes and talks to you about the manufacturing industry, they ask you what you know about their company and if you know what they do/make etc. Then you talk about your self/past experience for a few minutes. Then they take you out into the shop for a while to explore different departments and speak to spend some of the employees while they show you some things they do during their work hours. Ultimately they plan your second interview which consist of a job shadow with a few different employees so expect to be there for about 4 hours until you actually get to the second interview. In total on the day of the second interview I believe I was there for about 6 hours. Then you have to battle it out with one of the bosses in order to get a job offer.
