      Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 giorni. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Honeywell (Freeport, IL) nel mese di feb 2025

      This process began about a year ago. We were trending toward an offer after an on site visit, and they did not want to negotiate. Ultimately, I withdrew based on the travel to the plant in Freeport, IL and the salary that I felt was appropriate. Fast forward to 2025 and I applied again as I did like the position prior and wanted to see that since it was still posted, they would be willing to change their compensation. Their corporate HR reached back out to me to get me on site. They do text you, which I find to be weird. This happened very quick as they were willing to move salary to what I was looking for. The problem I have with this place in Freeport is that each time I've went for an interview, they are not prepared. In 2024, one person interviewed me. This year, it was 3 people out of four - and 2 out of the four were not on the initial invite. Their HR person in Freeport, IL is never on site which I find problematic. So they send a 2 month HR Generalist in a tshirt and jeans. The senior director was a no show as well. Needless to say, they did not do any prep work for this interview. Ultimately, I was texted by the corporate HR person 2 days later saying that my experience wasn't what they were looking for due to my lack of discussion on metrics (I'm currenlty focused on building teams and commissioning equipment in my current role). Either way, it wasn't a fit. No wonder why this position is still open - and my would be peer commented that they have a ridiciulously long backlog of work that isn't being completed. Advice to management - Be prepared for your interviews. I did not feel welcome and it certainly deterred my interst in not only the company, but killed any desire to drive 50 mins two ways every day. Secondly, in your "visitor" parking area in front of plant 1, you need to fix the barracades that have been smashed off their connections - there is rebar sticking up and someone is going to get a flat tire.
