The interview process is clear and described by the HR personnel. It is five stages: initial technical code test and Multiple choice, HR discussion, Take home assessment, review of assessment and meeting hiring manager, interview with CEO. The initial test was a great test of ML theory, one of the best tests I’ve done. The HR meeting was great, very friendly, helpful, and understanding - this was a great discussion! The take home assessment was not an easy one as it wasn’t clear how in depth or how long the submission should be. But I believe it’s all up to how much you feel like putting into it to stand out. You have 5 days to submit. The meeting with the hiring manager to review the submission was the best part as it was a very educational discussion about the choices and theory in the submission. Any ML enthusiast would love this part. The final meeting with CEO was interesting meeting where they would try to understand if you are a good fit to the company and culture and if your goals are aligned. This gives you a chance to ask more about the company.

The hiring process starts with an online Python/ML (MC+coding) test, then the recruiter-call round, then the take-home test, then 1-2 more rounds afterward. I failed the take-home test round. Even though there are many rounds of interviews, I felt my time of investment was worth it. The team respected my efforts. The hiring manager even scheduled half an hour to discuss potential improvements on my take-home tests with me, even though he had decided not to move forward with my application. Also, the recruiter was responsive and interactive throughout the process. It was definitely one of my best interview experiences.
