I told them that I think education can and should be a positive experience that never ends. I think that all people should continue to learn and educate themselves but that education starts in the home and then is collaborative between home life and school life. Every year as a teacher you get a chance to make a lasting positive impression on a child's life. Not only do you get a chance to impact that child but their entire family unit. Teaching and educating is one of the hardest professions and it can be draining and challenging, but education is the only way our culture, our community and our families can grow forward.
