When discussing pay I quoted how much I made at my last position which was hourly, then told her the salary equivalent and said anything close to that would be appreciated. To which she said "say I believe what youre saying" so clearly she didnt -" we aren't close to that"... scoffed and then got heated lecturey on how myself AND OTHER CANDIDATES had too high expectations for a senior position pay especially in New York, and because of benefits we should readjust regardless. (FYI for creatives reading, what theyre offering is whats considered to be mid-level agency pay for new york)
