I had a technical interview two weeks back.. The interviewers were okay. They got offended when I asked them about work life balance in the organization, to which they said, "If you want more in life, you have to do/give more". So it clearly states they don't care about mental and physical well-being.. they just need human robots.. They also got offended because I didn't mention the role of CPEC in the development of my nation. I answered all their technical questions correctly and I have experience for the stated role as well.
The HR person reached out to me after the interview through WhatsApp and asked questions regarding my availability to join, marital status and how long I will stay after joining the organisation.. I responded to him accordingly and then there was dead silence..
I haven't heard from them yet and unofficially I came to know that I didn't get selected for the next round.
Being a professional, I am not furious about rejection.. I have no issue with that. But they must have this little much professional courtesy to give feedback to each applicant especially in case of rejection. Positive or negative feedback is always helpful for candidates in understanding the reason behind rejection and how they can improve and work on the factors mentioned in feedback.
