3)HR discussion
Chronology:
i) Recruiter called, asked about experience, current ctc, Expected ctc.
ii)L1 Inverview scheduled.
iii)L2 interview scheduled
iv)Called to office for biometric form submission
v)HR discussion:
For example: I declared my expected ctc 25 LPA to recruiter during initial discussion.
HR deducted the variable pay(I get 80-100% in current organization) from current ctc. Now They asked How much fixed do you want as fixed pay?
Me: Atleast 23 as my current CTC is 18 .
HR: We can give max 22 LPA.Lets do one thing. Please allow me 1 week of time Lets see what can I get best for you.
me: ok
HR came after 4 days: We can offer you 19 max on top of that we will add 1 Lakh joining bonus.
I was really shocked hearing the number.
I was thinking if I have any value for the skills, I have acquired for last 8 years.
IBM wants to be very clever by deducting the variable pay and the negotiate on top of that. Please remember IBM does not pay any variable. They call it performance bonus, which is really useless. You will get maximum 3-5 % of your basic pay. Which is insignificant. IBM Consulting is cheap. I feel better at Wipro. Please don't join IBM GBS/Consulting.
I rejected the offer because of their unprofessional attitude and their ultra clever attitude.

Entretien agréables et dans un style collaboratif. Process un peu long mais normal dans organisation de cette taille. Durée du processus : 3 mois pour un profil expérimenté. Entretien sur place avec locaux agréables.

After online application submission, next step was a machine-based interview. The Recorded Competency Video is a short assessment that allows you "to demonstrate your workplace competency beyond what a traditional resume allows. You will be presented with a pre-recorded question, and you will be asked to record your response . This is a timed assessment."
"This recorded interview will take between 10-20 minutes to complete. You will respond to multiple prerecorded interview questions. For each question you will be given 1 minute to prepare and 3 minutes to respond."
I was presented with four questions in total. There was a practice question available that lets you get a feel for the process.
