Colloquio
From the start, the interviewer displayed an aggressive and dismissive tone, repeatedly interrupting my responses and undermining my qualifications. When I provided examples of my experience in agile program management and HR systems optimization, they scoffed and suggested my background was “too niche to be useful”—a shockingly unprofessional comment given the role’s posted requirements. Rather than engaging in a meaningful dialogue, the conversation felt more like an interrogation, with the interviewer showing no interest in understanding how my work aligned with their mission or goals.
The most disturbing moment came when I asked about their organizational culture and stakeholder engagement. The interviewer responded with a sarcastic remark implying that "she didnt really know much about the culture but had only been there a year” completely disregarding the importance of strategic alignment and employee experience. It was clear that empathy and collaboration were not valued in this environment. I left the interview feeling not only disrespected, but concerned about the toxic tone that seemed embedded in their process. I hope the company takes a serious look at the conduct of their hiring team and the long-term damage such experiences can cause to their reputation. Ive now sent a detailed letter to HR informing them of this experience.

Email solicitation with discriminatory verbiage. I tried contacting the corporate office, but did not receive a response. As a result, I contacted the EEOC to file a complaint.
As an older job seeker, this bias has become commonplace for me.

What they are looking for- strong infrastructure IT project manager, has to be someone very well-spoken, local to the area. Like younger candidates, but will look at anyone qualified!
