First contact over the phone through a recruiter mandated by Imerys. Classical process of career path description, reasons to seek new job and salary expectations. Recruiter also honestly described job R&R's and expectations. Then 3 interviews with 1) line manager as Division HSE leader, 2) régional HR and 3) Division operational leader. All went fine even if the HR interview got postopned once in short notice to 8 hours later. After 3 rounds of interviews, recruitment office told me I was a good candidate and Imerys will take décision by end of the month ( 14 days to go). However I did ask for more rounds of supplementary interview myself. 23 days later I did ask for an update to recruitment office and was told that the job opening was not approved yet and imerys was struggling to get it. This was surprising because throughout the interview I have been told consistently the role was critical and the company was absolutely committed to fill the position after the lady hired 12 months before left for personal reasons. I decided then to withdraw my candidature.

Processus classique avec premier contact par téléphone puis entretien face à face avec un recruteur. Le recruteur posait peu de question, écoutait sans relancer, tres désagréable et pas très engageant. Réponse négative de la part d'Imerys moins d'une semaine plus tard par un appel laconique du recruteur. J'espère que l'entreprise n'est pas à l'image de ce recruteur...
