It was a completely chaotic interview experience where nothing was managed or handled properly .people were picked up randomly with no experience and many of the students did not even get a chance to talk.

I applied in the company's website.First phone screening with the HR manager and with an engineer. Few questions about my current work and my previous experience, as well as my knoledge and passion. Unfortunately they told me that they contacted me for another position, but didn't mention why the position I applied for wasn't available anymore. However after this first screening they invited me on site, in Padua; the travel was paied (a rarity for italian company) and arranged a polite HR. The interview was difficult. Despite they told me by telephone the interview was not so particular, the interview was really techincal. First written batch of problem solving question, 40 minutes long. Second written batch of technical questions and numerical problems, regarding CMOS technology, MOS current calculus, current mirror and so on, 40 minutes long. After that, the HR manager and 2 engineers interviewed me. The interview was good: even if technical, they tried to see how I solve the problem, not if I remember things. A few tricky question at this porpouse.
