Was offered opportunity to engage in 30 min phone interview after applying online. The person called 15 late, leaving me with 15 min in the allotted 30 min. I was in the middle of emailing them to see what was up when they finally called. The interviewer spoke really fast and I had a lot of trouble following. I was already frazzled so that didn’t help. I was asked three questions.

Applied online, received an email the next day asking that I schedule a screening Zoom call with the recruiter. Recruiter was very nice and casual/informal, easy to talk to. I was told that I would receive an email outlining next steps and that I would be asked to complete a content exercise, the turnaround for which was four business days, and was expected to take 3-4 hours to complete... so I worked through the lengthy content exercise and gathered and submitted samples of my past work, met the deadline, and heard nothing for two weeks. When I followed up, the recruiter told me she would be back in touch by the end of the week to talk about next steps and scheduling a panel interview. Didn't hear from her by the end of the week, or the following week. I followed up again (this is now a month after submitting the content exercise) and heard nothing for another week. Have just received a form email thanking me for my interest and for submitting my resume, but letting me know that the application period has closed and that I will not be considered for an interview--read almost as if it were the first email I had received from the organization after submitting a resume for their consideration.
