While I appreciated the opportunity to interview for the position, I must say that the interview process could’ve been better. Firstly, at the end of the interview with the hiring manager, I asked about the next steps in the process. I unfortunately haven’t received any clarity about what to expect, except that “HR will reach out in few days to tell me the next steps”. Despite being informed that I would receive a follow-up within a few days, I haven’t received any follow. I decided after two weeks to follow up myself to receive an answer. Additionally, I felt that the interview itself with the hiring manager was rather brief, and I did not have the opportunity to fully showcase my skills and experience. Furthermore, I sensed some discomfort during the interview with the manager, and it seemed as though I was eliminated from consideration in the first few minutes of my interview. As a candidate, I value transparency and respect in the interview process, and unfortunately, I did not feel that these were fully upheld during my interview experience. I believe that providing feedback is crucial for continuous improvement, and I offer these comments with the hope that they may be helpful in refining your interview process for future candidates. Clear communication, thorough evaluation, and respectful treatment of candidates can significantly enhance the overall candidate experience and contribute to the reputation of InvestX as an employer of choice.
