3 rounds of interviews, first was a call with the hiring manager to discuss experience. 2nd was planned to be a call but was changed to a presentation with a 3 day turnaround (challenging while still working a full time job) then a final face-to-face which I was informed would be about culture fit but it was more technical questions, which was a bit of a surprise but all good. I was offered the role, which I delightfully accepted, handed in my notice and signed the contract. One month into my notice period (2 months before I was due to start) I got a call to say the role no longer exists and for commercial reasons, they couldn't go forward. This has left me in a terrible situation, to which they have compensated me with 1 weeks pay, and essentially 6 weeks to find a new job. Be very cautious when interviewing here. Ask about job security and their financial situation because I would hate for others to go through what I am.
