After a few rounds of interviews and 2 separate projects - a case study and a presentation project my final interview was cancelled an hour before it was set to begin. I was given 2 days notice to build a presentation deck for this interview, spent hours of my time preparing the deck as well as preparing my conversation notes and was abruptly cancelled before I was able to give my presentation. This was incredibly unprofessional in my opinion very disrespectful of my time and efforts. I understand that the company is very busy and things are tightly scheduled but to give me 2 days to prepare for a presentation interview and then cancel that interview an hour beforehand is incredibly frustrating. I do not fault the recruiter who has been incredibly helpful and responsive during this process but the way I was handled at that point was just awful.
