Everyone I met (and I quietly met a few people) was very friendly and acted very proffessionally. The process was transparent but lengthy: I took 2 logic tests (one to pass and "get into" the process, one supervised). I had 5 (!) face-to-face interviews, with people at different levels. In one interview I did a short and fair case, the others were mostly about getting to know me/reviewing my experience. The whole process took about 6 weeks, starting the first interview, which was draining and honestly unnecessary considering I could have met with a few people at once as to me, it felt like the same interview over and over again with different people. Klarna's recruiting strategy is to recruit "in pipeline," which means that some open positions are intentionally kept vague and there may not be an actual position to fill at the time. This was transparent to me at all times, same as from my side the areas in which I could (and could not) imagine working in. Although HR assured me throughout the process that they had an actual position that fit my profile, which made me continue the process against my increasing doubts (which i expressed towards HR!), I was not offered a position because they did not have a position that fit my profile. Overalll, what a waste of time...Make sure to continue only if they can describe a very concrete role to you, that actually exsists.
