I did 3 rounds of interviews with various members of the team in Sweden and UK. I was impressed with how agile the process was going and the clear communication - just to be completely ghosted at the end. When I chased the hiring manager (CMO), she replied that they were recruiting a Director and wanted their input on the final candidates too, but weeks went by and she never got back to me. I never found out if they hired someone else, put the role on hold or what. It only takes a few seconds to send an email. If they treat candidates at the final stage with such disrespect and unprofessionalism, I think I dodged a bullet.
