There were several phone interviews scheduled early on with different partners. Apparently this was still early in the process. I thought the interviews went well and they then scheduled for me to meet with hiring manager. They asked to rrereschedule this meeting due to her travel. They then didn’t get back to me for more than a week and when I asked for an update they sent me a message that the role had been filled. Ask early in the process whether you are competing internally with others for role or where they are in hiring process.
