      Colloquio per Field Marketing Coordinator

      11 giu 2026

      Esperienza negativa
      Colloquio difficile

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso LGI Homes (Scottsdale, AZ) nel mese di mag 2026

      Colloquio

I applied for the Field Marketing Coordinator position and initially had a positive experience with the interview process. After a phone screening, I was asked to submit a portfolio showcasing my event planning experience. Following that, I was invited to an in-person interview in Scottsdale, which required significant travel time. The interview went very well, and I was asked to provide three professional references, which were contacted. I was then invited to a second interview with a VP, which also went extremely well. After that, I was asked to participate in their “commitment” interview process. I dedicated approximately five hours on a Saturday commuting between locations in Laveen and Casa Grande to meet with the team, learn more about the role, discuss expectations, compensation, and a potential start date. Throughout the process, I was given positive feedback and was told I would be a great fit for the position. I was informed that I was one of two final candidates, which I completely understood and respected. After the holiday weekend, I followed up to thank the team for their time and express that I was still very interested in the opportunity. After multiple follow-ups, I never received a response and was ultimately ghosted. I completely understand that another candidate may have been selected, and that is part of the hiring process. However, after multiple interviews, reference checks, a portfolio submission, and a significant time commitment from a candidate, I believe it is important to provide an update or closure. A simple communication letting me know the position was filled would have been appreciated. The interview team was friendly and the role itself seemed like a great opportunity, but the lack of communication at the end of such an extensive process was disappointing and felt unprofessional.
