Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 5 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Lidl (Londra, Inghilterra) nel mese di dic 2020
Colloquio
Applied online in November, after a bit more than a week I got an invitation to an online assessment (had 7 days to do it). About a week later, I got an email inviting me for an online interview. The interview was recorded online rather than in person. You had about 3 minutes to record the answers for each question (10 questions in total). There was 1 minute preparation time and it was not possible to rerecord the answers. The next step would have been an online assessment day in February, and the position would have started in September 2021. I found it a bit weird that even if you came that far in the application process you never got to speak to a person form Lidl directly
Domande di colloquio [1]
Domanda 1
COVID related questions like: What would you do if one of the suppliers you are dealing with increases their prices within the first year of their contract due to higher costs related to COVID security measures
A pleasant and well-organised day, and I felt that the interviewers were considerate and attentive. Although I didn't get an offer, I thought the process was rigorous and fair. One point to note, they didn't offer to cover any of our expenses, but only invited us 10 days in advance to their office in London. Many candidates had to stay overnight as the day started so early, and accommodation prices were very high so close to the time. Given that their office shares a site with a budget hotel, you would think they would be able to negotiate a corporate rate for instances such as this.
Online test (I think around 4 different stages, all the usual stuff), online interview (6 questions each given only one minute to prepare and then 5 minutes to answer), then assessment centre.
Online application, online test, recorded video interview, maths test, assessment centre which involves a presentation and interview. The recruitment team is very helpful, especially on the day of the assessment centre.
