Standard interview process beginning with applying via the career page followed by a quick 15-30 minute call with a recruiter. An interview was scheduled after the phone screening. The problems began at this stage when the hiring manager decided to reschedule the interview with less than 20 hours to go, moving it out a week. It's understandable that scheduling conflicts occur, but to reschedule with that short amount of lead time is frankly unprofessional; especially via email and during evening hours when people normally do not check emails at that time. During the interview, the hiring manager decided to ask if I was applying to other jobs, which I felt was an inappropriate question to ask and it made me feel very uneasy answering it. Upon answering the question, the hiring manager shifted to a very dissatisfied expression via body language, and within the next business day, I received a rejection. While my answer to his question may not have been the deciding factor, the optics here shows otherwise.
