I showed up 5 minutes early to interview. Owner was shocked that I was on time and implied many people he interviews do not show up on time, he commented on how that alone made me “stand out”. He brought me to the back by workout equipment, interview was simple. He reviewed my resume and discussed my experience (been with a hospital for 9 years, loyalty, hard working etc). Left interview with verbal job offer - owner stated he would email over contract with pay and start date. Never received email. I followed up with the owner twice, he never responded. It was weird and unprofessional, will never access services at Lume or recommend it for employment if hiring staff think it’s acceptable to “ghost” applicants after giving an offer.
