The application process was straightforward. I filled out the form on their website, but they requested a voice recording, which was a bit tricky since I wanted to make a great impression. I left it for later, but they then sent me an email for a video interview, even without the voice recording. They also sent me a technical assessment exercise, but the link didn’t work. I wanted to complete it before the zoom call, so I sent the recruiter an email about the broken link, but I haven’t heard back from them. During the interview, the interviewer seemed a bit cold and robotic. They seemed to know their script well and talked really fast. I guess they interview a lot of people every day, but it felt like they didn’t care about me. They asked the same old questions, like about my last job, what I liked about a project, and what I was looking for in a job.

The initial interview went well, but the company ultimately ghosted me after a long and drawn-out process. I never received feedback on the technical portion, making it a waste of my time.

This one, like most of the reviews I was able to find about CleverTech’s interview process, shares my own experience about a very poorly designed and time wasting process.
From the start you don't interact with any human, they ask you multiple questions and then you have to submit a voice note so your application is considered. I got a link in an automated email a couple of days after applying to perform a technical interview plus some additional automated email reminders to take the test.
The technical interview was a three-question DevSkill assessment with roughly ~3.5 hours to complete, quite outdated but doable with good time management skills, you have to download a git repository and make the unit tests pass. After submitting the test I got another automated email (my 8th and final email at this point) saying that they decided to not continue with the interview moving forward.
After reading reviews, I also realized that these positions are getting spammed on LinkedIn, always reposting the same position every 2 - 3 days, quite suspicious, especially considering that no human ever gets involved and they can just passively farm data from people who apply without any effort on their side.
If I would’ve read the reviews about their interview process on Glassdoor I would’ve chosen to not let them waste my time, lesson for me.

Domanda 1
Three-question DevSkill assessment with roughly ~3.5 hours to complete. Basic JavaScript and React knowledge, what's most important is time management during the test.
