They found my CV on indeed and called me to offer an interview. On my way to the interview I got a call from the HR person telling me to go get a coffee and be there 45 mins later than my interview slot as they were running late (I had another interview after which I ended up missing). When I got there THE HR PERSON SHOOK MY HAND in the middle of the COVID pandemic. Then sat me down and spoke to me for ages about the same things she had already asked me on the phone. Nobody wearing masks and office packed. Once she was done she left me there for another 20 mins as the director would interview me too. Rather strange man, compared himself to Jordan Belfort, he said very uncomfortable things such as ‘it doesn’t matter what happens in your life, I don’t care, you put your big boy pants on and do your job’. The interview lasted about an hour and I was so glad it was over.

Walking in the door, there was a great buzz in the atmosphere and lots of happy voices working the phones, community feel. I was welcomed and interviewed by two energetic and lovely members from the HR team. I just came from a night shift plus had nerves like I was on trial facing life but the HR team did their best to help me feel at ease. These are the kind of people who you want to see when you arrive at work in the morning, wonderful people. I then had a more in depth interview with a team leader from the Legal & Compliance division. We discussed the intricacies of the role and the company and my professional background. We also practised hypothetical scenarios. The team leader was exceptionally knowledgeable and inspirational, a great person to soak up game from. They helped expose the areas I must improve in to succeed in the industry. Win, lose, strive to improve… Valuable experience, ambitious growing company, highly recommend working here.
