Smooth, but I thought it odd that it took TWO different people from HR/Recruitment to simply set up one single 30 minute video call. Interviewer (female) was pleasant, but overall demeanor seemed "rushed" and unable or unwilling to spend any time asking me relevant questions. She spoke at a fast-tempo, which I loved and am accustomed to, and we coverd a good bit of information. However, majority of this meeting was SHE telling ME all about the job details instead of there being an equal exchange of communications. My takeaway impressions were: 1) she was slightly intimidated by my interest in the role, 2) she was going through the motions of our interview strictly for HR statistical purposes and she felt it a waste of her time, 3) it ended up being a waste of MY time.

Very little was asked of ME; First, and only query, asked about challenges I faced as a past Chief Compliance Officer (private equity, 8 years). I could tell she was hurried and not fully interested in my response.
Initial Screening

Overall the process was straightforward with two rounds of interviews. Pleasant experience all in all with general questions asked. Nothing too complicated. Last round was more of an informal chat.

Had questions around common gaps in credit frameworks and questions around regulatory requirements and how to stay abreast and compliant as a bank.
