The advice that I would give to the candidates would to develop interpersonal and communication skills and have the selling abilities. Come prepared with the ideas of how you can sell stuff if you are applying for the sales associate job. It is not an easy job and do not think that sales is easy and once you go for the interview you will get the job.
The person in another department is having some difficulty understanding how to do the job, would you just go up to him/her and help or ask someone else to take care of it?
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
