Applied online for another department and a recruiter reached out to me thinking I'd be a better fit on the support team. Scheduled a phone interview that went well. A lot of mixup on their part to schedule the next video interview. The video interview was with two current team member and the person I had the phone interview with. The two current team members took the lead but seemed like their first time interviewing, distracted and asked redundant questions. Didn't hear back after this interview. I sent several follow up emails and just never heard back.

Overall a relatively straightforward process. Got in touch through a mutual connection at the company, I was then put through to a recruiter to discuss the role in more detail. After that I had a phone screening with the role manager and a video interview with two members of the team. The final step in the process was to work with the team I would be joining for a two day sprint.
Throughout the process my recruiter was very good about checking in to see how I was feeling after each step. She took special care to see if there was anything I needed or if there were any questions that she could address before moving on to the next step.

Mapbox responded in an email to my job application. We set up a phone call with one of their employees currently leading the support team. We talked about the details of the job. It felt less like an assessment of myself and more like a conversation about the position/industry/company. I several similar phone calls with other members of the Mapbox team.
