Colloquio
The initial phone interview was extremely short and easy. The interviewer just wanted to make sure you're passionate about the job and understand what the role is. The next and most important part of the process was the in person interview where you need to essentially pitch your ideas and overall process on how you're going to raise money and retain capital. They do a pretty good job of preparing you for this however with their informational video presentations and such.

Why do you want to be a Wealth Management Advisor? Why do you want to work for McAdam?

Incredibly impersonal. These are the best words I have to describe the process. McAdam likes to bloat that they are a very fast growing company, even in COVID-19 times. That's a no brainer considering their employees are paid only in commission and dont come into the office. There is absolutely no accountability fr their employees and I would not want to work here. Even better, the interview process required that I submit a list of potential clients that I could use once I worked at McAdam. How suspicious.

How would you strive to help your clients accomplish their financial goals?

Way too easy. A couple behavioral questions but nothing special. They just wanted bodies, they give no compensation for working there. A very new and small company that wants you to think you’re applying for a wealth management advisor but you are applying for an insurance sales job, as well as annuities.
