Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Medix (Seattle, WA) nel mese di apr 2020
Colloquio
Kept me in limbo for 4 months, asked for my references before offering a job, did not pick up the phone for scheduled calls with my references, did not tell me if I got the job or not 3 weeks after the final interview and I had to reach out multiple times to find out. First interview 45 min phone screening call with recruiter, second interview 2 hour phone call with recruiter and hiring manager, third interview with whole office: 30 min overview with hiring manager and recruiter, 45 min shadow with a recruiter, another 45 min shadow with a different recruiter, attend final meeting for 45 min with team.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite l'università. La procedura ha richiesto 3 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Medix (Irvine, CA) nel mese di ott 2018
Colloquio
After 3 months involving phone interviews and follow-ups, I've received no status-updated regarding my application with MEDIX. After speaking with the recruiter for months, the recruiter decides to ghost me and I was unable to reach Recruiter or HR.
One hour screening call, then monthly follow-ups that lasted about 15 minutes. The phone interview was way too personal and she asked me "why" I made every single decision I did in my career, from high school, college clubs, choosing major, etc. Felt intrusive.
Has common courtesy become extinct? Respect is a two-way street. Potential employees deserve better. If you are not interested, don't drag them along to build hope, only to disappoint them. A little empathy goes a long way. Candidates invest so much time & effort and even finances into preparing for interviews. Once a candidate gives of their time to be interviewed. They deserve feedback. Grant them closure.
