      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura di persona. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Memory Express (Edmonton, AB) nel mese di mar 2016

      Colloquio

The interview process took about 2 weeks. First one took place with a sale manager a week first after I submitted my resume, and was told to go back for a second interview exactly one week after with the general manager. However, the whole process was a complete waste of time, because no retail sales job require 2 weeks to conisder. First sales manager asked me a lot of professional questions about my personality and my sales experience during the first interview, but the second interview was only there so the general manager to get a sense of my personality, which, was a waste of time. I made a trip down to the store just to make some small talk and to find out the general manager is essential an unprofessional manager who is obviously terrible at being a salesperson himself, but because he was with the company for 10 years, he was able to become a GM. First of all, I have never talked to a GM who does not believed in the warranty IPR product they sell in the store and I quote "Those IPR warranty are what make us the money, but they are complete waste of money because only less than 10% of people actually used their warranty." Second, the gerenal manager doesnt even keep his words when he said he was going to call me back on the same afternoon to let me know their final decision. Afterall, I was glad I didnt have to work there, because you will never grow working under someone who doesnt believe in their own product and unprofessional. I can't emphasize how big of waste of time was the interview, the first interview doesnt mean jack, if the general manager turns out doesn't know what to look for in a salesman, instead of someone he just instantly like.
