After a phone interview with a recruiter, I was offered an online interview with the direct manager of the research team. And it was very casual and somehow it was formal. He asked me about the related experiences and knowledge regarding my research topic and their research topic. He tried to make me comfortable.

What kind of machine learning algorithms did you use? Do you explain the process of machine learning that you used (Layers, computing process)? What have you done to implement it? What was the result?

I didn't get the job though, but the recruitment process was fair.

This individual was arrogant and rude towards me during the interview, making disparaging comments about my current employer and experience, and mocking me for asking about job security in the company. After this experience I decided to withdraw my interest in the position.
