Met with the director and another member of the lab, then the PI (who I'd potentially be working for). Mostly asked about my resume and future plans, and then they discussed their work.

HR screening followed by a Zoom call with a PI. The call was relaxed and we just talked about my prior experience and what the lab was about. During the call, an in-person interview was scheduled. However, day of the interview, I emailed to reconfirm the time, but did not get a response. I called the PI to make sure, and was told that I'll be contacted later to reschedule. Then, the next day I received an automated email from HR saying that they would not be moving forward with me. It was unprofessional and I felt that they did not respect me as a candidate or my time, which was unfortunate considering I had a genuine interest in that lab.
