      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 3 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso MultiCare Health System (Tacoma, WA) nel mese di nov 2023

      Colloquio

I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter, who set up an interview, but totally ghosted me. They consistently do that, they really need to do better. An assistant a few months later emailed me asking if i was still interested in the position and got me scheduled for an interview. I had a series of 3 interviews. The first was with the managers from two different teams, same department, which one manager was late to. But they were nice nonetheless and it seemed to go well. The second interview was with the Director. The interview was shy of 30 minutes and I didn’t particularly feel good about it. I did do the interview in the car, which I don’t think mattered or should even have been an issue. Nonetheless, that same day they asked if I had time to interview with the contract specialist that I would be working closely with the following day, if I was to be offered the job. I did and I won’t lie, the interview was very stale and awkward. I personally wasn’t even sure I wanted to work there after that. 4 business days later I woke up to an automated email saying I wasn’t selected, which is fine honestly because I highly doubt I would have accepted an offer from them, to be honest. But I felt that was cold and rude considering I spent time interviewing with 4 different people… so I emailed the assistant and she emailed the director. She gave me a faux apology regarding the automated system and said her criticism was to maybe not have interviews in a car since it’s a remote role and that she simply chose to go with the candidate she felt would be more successful. I have been in the work field a lot and have had a lot of interviews and have never had anyone say that to me. How can anyone determine who would be more successful in a role with a 20-30 minute interview?! Anyhow, I feel like dodged a bullet and got offered a position with UW the following day, so it all worked out for the best. The director of that department didn’t even know what the acronyms DEIB meant, which is a HUGE red flag. Multicare needs to do better. I almost feel like I was being discriminated against to be honest, now that I think about it. But overall, it was a very poor experience.
