The entire process took approximately three months starting from the day I was contacted by the recruiter up until I received an offer. The first interview was with the department director who I believe was very professional and presented himself as a great leader. The second interview took place a month later with another director. Great interview overall. The third and final interview was with a very friendly and down to earth HR manager. This would've been the first time for being part of a union and no idea of how involved they are during the hiring process. A few weeks pass and I receive an email from a coordinator stating I start the next day. Salary was ever mentioned. I was really disappointed with the offer and it was not negotiable. Set by the union. What a waste. I learned a very valuable lesson. Always ask what the pay range is!
