I first completed the initial video interview which consisted of 9 basic interview questions. The next day I was called to interview at the show's offices in Stamford, CT. I talked to a producer, as well as the executive producer. The structure of the interview seemed to be picking the position that would best fit me, and I walked away feeling rather confident. I was told to send a follow up email with some additional information, and that I would hear back within a week to a week and a half. I sent my follow up email and waited, but never heard back. I followed up several more times and never even received a response. Meanwhile the job was reposted several times after my interview. I was able to assume I hadn't gotten the position 3 weeks after my interview, when the day the job was supposed to begin came and passed and I still hadn't received a response. I would understand if I didn't hear back after initially applying, or even after the first digital interview. However, after taking my time to go to Stamford to speak to the producers, I find it incredibly unprofessional that I couldn't even get a response to my several follow-up emails. It was an extremely disappointing experience with a company I have idolized for years.
