This is a review for Stay Cafe, under the umbrella of NPK Hospitality. The owner owns Concord Music Hall and The Radius in Chicago, as well as Hide + Seek, and a few other restaurants. The hiring manager was curt, abrasive, hostile, and negative. He did not like the fact that I called out a water-stained knife, crumbs on the table, dirty menu, and sugar filled in the sugarcaddy. I have an extreme attention to detail and he did not like the fact that I could see corners are already being cut in an establishment that had only been open for three months. He made me repeat myself numerous times and laughed when I made a mistake, despite him making a few, I did not do the same.
