Colloquio
I applied for the engineer roles (Quality, Process, Test, and Equipment Engineer) based on job descriptions posted on LinkedIn. However, during the interview, they informed me that the position was actually for a Software Engineer, which was completely unrelated to what I had applied for.
Overall, the experience was disappointing and felt misleading. Candidates should clarify the actual job role before attending the interview.

Colloquio
During the interview, I was first asked some basic questions such as self-introduction, my strengths and weaknesses. After that, the interviewer asked about the functions of electronic components and their uses. Since I’m a fresh graduate, I answered based on what I’ve learned in university. The interviewer was very patient and guided me to find the correct answers. They also asked whether I’m able to accept overtime on weekdays and weekends, and I mentioned that I’m willing to do so when necessary.

The interview experience at NationGate could have been more polished. Communication prior to the interview felt disorganized — the invitation email contained several typos, and messages via WhatsApp lacked clarity and timely follow-up. This created a less-than-ideal first impression. On the interview day, finding the company entrance was challenging, and there appeared to be some confusion at the security checkpoint regarding scheduled appointments.
The interview itself was brief, lasting under 30 minutes. Several team members conducted short, informal conversations focusing on general work experience, without technical questions or deeper discussions. The overall process felt somewhat rushed and unstructured. A clearer process and stronger communication could significantly improve the candidate experience.
