Got to the 3rd round which was a technical interview. Spent a long time preparing for the interview ( probably about two 8 hour days) predominantly around Cloud based technologies/ what was on the job specification. Not one of the questions asked in the technical interview was on the job specification. Asked me more around on prem infrastructure than Cloud. Manager hadn't heard of very well known monitoring software I mentioned and seemed to think I was making it up and kept asking me to re explain. Manager seemed like your classic hasn't touched tech in 20 years but still considers himself qualified to interview people and judge them on their technical ability.
