      Colloquio

      I applied online and received an email from their recruitment. Got scheduled a series of calls, and then received a home task assignment. After delivering my solution proposal to it, got scheduled a call with an engineer from the company to review it. Things were looking good and I was advancing round after round. Right before the last interview in the process, which is a conversation with their CEO, I got rejected with some poor explanation for the reasons. They told me I was good, but they had some better candidates. At the same time they kept posting the same role and new ones. I liked the company, but it seems that they are not completely sure what they are looking for. What was funny is that one of their engineers shared that the company had hired into an engineering role a pilot, who had lost their job due to Covid. I felt terribly, as I have been building my engineering expertise for more than a decade, this is also what my BSc degree is in, and to be outperformed by a pilot!? This is some very weird company :)

      I did an interview in Oct 2025. the recruiter was helpful and explained the whole process! after the recruiter call I had a call with 2 members of a team that i was interviwing for and they asked me questions related to my resume anf also a mini system design question to design an authorisation related component and asked questions regarding that! then it was the take home test. they asked to code in python or Go i think and since that was not my main pogramming language, when i submitted my result they said it's not a good code for a python project! the process was good, but i think if they made it not language-specific it would be more professional!

      Colloquio

      The process started with a call with Talent Acquisition, followed by a discussion with the Team Lead on my experience and familiarity with graph databases and related tech. I was then given a week for a take-home assignment in any tech stack, followed by a session to expand on the solution with live coding to add features. The final rounds were behavioral interviews with the Hiring Manager and the VP of HR. Overall, the interview process felt focused and purposeful. The team provided clarity around the day-to-day responsibilities and expectations, which was very helpful. Sam supported me as the talent acquisition partner throughout. My first application for a team did not move forward, but Sam kept in touch and later connected me to another opportunity. He also helped me understand what to expect in each interview round and was very quick in providing feedback. I felt encouraged and supported throughout. From my experience, the company seems to foster a fantastic corporate culture.

      Questions based on experience and familiarity tech stack, graph DB. Take home assignment to be completed within a week in language and tech stack of choice. Behavioural Questions approach to conflict resolution etc. Approach to problem-solving and collaboration seem to be highly valued.
