I signed up online for the job, sent my resume and took a short medical terminology test. Several days later, I received an email that I was hired. I then received a call from a lady in the personnel office, asking what hours I would be available to work and various other questions in regards to salary. She went over all the payroll and tax forms with me, as well as the HIPAA Privacy Rule forms to be signed and returned. Shortly after that, I communicated via email with my direct supervisor welcoming me to the company and also sent attachments with procedures and rules, and directions for the setup of their platform on my computer. An appointment was made for the tech guy to walk me through the platform setup. My supervisor called and we discussed the communication protocol and we went over all the procedures and rules step by step. I trained with my supervisor for about a week, then released to work on my own.
