Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 3 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso New York Times (New York, NY) nel mese di gen 2019
Colloquio
Process was 3+ months. Applied through employee referral in December and received an offer in March.
First step was initial phone screen, followed by google hangouts call, followed by on-site interview with 5 different people ranging from product, engineers, tech leads, etc. Last step was a one on one with manager over hangout call. Received offer a few days later - reasonable comp and benefits.
Interviews were fairly innocuous and if you're well prepared on past experiences, system design, algorithms, and talking about projects you will do well. Important thing is to remain personable and nice throughout the process. You may need to send check in emails to make sure you're on the right path. Even though the overall process took awhile it was definitely worth it.
Would highly recommend reading up on latest tech blogs from the Times to know up to date technology they're using, as well as the latest interview process they've instituted.

Recruiter who I was already in contact with recommended me to the position. 30 min engineering manager behavioral, 30 min leetcode medium problem, followed by 4 panel interviews. (uncertain of what the panel interviews consist of)

First initial phone screening on google meet with video. The recruiter missed the first call and I was waiting for 15minutes into my lunch break. I emailed the recruiter, they seemed sorry and then we rescheduled. Phone screening was as aspected, tell me about yourself, why NYT, logistics, etc.
15 minute recruiter call (informational, make sure to let them know if there are other roles you're interested in at the company as they could be a recruiter for that role as well), 30 min hiring manager, 30 minute technical
