Applied online. Two days later, I received an e-mail asking me to schedule an interview. I scheduled for a two hour window, the next day. The interviewer called well within the scheduled period. She was professional but not overly friendly or informative. She invited me for a follow-up in person interview. She seemed to be reading from a scrip and not able to improvise or react to what I was saying. She also didn't describe the job to me or offer to answer my questions until I asked. I mentioned that I had never been to The Rack but went last night. I said that her questions were customer service oriented and that at The Rack, I didn't see many opportunities for customer service--just two cashiers and one girl running around with a shopping cart picking up merchandise that fell to the floor. I asked her if she had something else in mind that would leverage my personal sales and wardrobing skills.. I told her that I might be better suited for a commission based position at regular Nordstrom. She said that was separate and that she couldn't help with that.

Applied online. About 2 weeks later received an "online "interview" which was a 3 minute process asking me what time was I available for a in person interview. Received 2 interviews on the day of the interview, with a tutor of the store. About a week later received a job offer. I had no sales experience.
