I was given the phone number to the special ed director while I was still living about 2400 miles away. I made initial contact, he was very excited to hear from me and requested additional phone interviews. I had a phone interview with him first, then a group phone interview which included the principal of an elementary school. I was contacted several times by phone and sent my resume over email. I also filled out an application that was faxed to me, and was offered the position with a few weeks of the initial phone call. I then signed the contract via fax and had a start date for when I moved to the area.
