Recommended by the person who was leaving the position. Face to face interviews with several leads on the same day in more than one location. Final interview was a phone interview with someone I hadn't met and seemed quite confused as to which position I was applying for. Interestingly it also seemed that he had the position I had applied for and was interviewing me for something else. The process ended abruptly when I received an email from HR telling me my candidacy was no longer valid. Several email and phone calls to HR and the interviewers did not illicit a response.
