      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Odin nel mese di apr 2026

      Colloquio

I recently interviewed with Odin via Microsoft Teams for what was described as a brief introductory call. The meeting was scheduled for 15 minutes but concluded in approximately 9 minutes. There were three individuals on the call, two HR representatives and one supervisor for the role. One HR representative kept their camera off for the duration of the interview, and the supervisor appeared to be multitasking or focused on another assignment, which limited active engagement. As a result, the interaction felt minimal and somewhat disengaged. The questions asked were standard (background, skills, interest in the role, and long-term goals aka the 5-year plan question), and I provided thoughtful responses that aligned with both the position and my professional goals. However, there was little follow-up or meaningful dialogue from all parties, and the interview concluded without additional questions or discussion. I was informed that this interview style is used to assess cultural fit. From a candidate’s perspective, this approach can feel one-sided. Interviews are inherently mutual since candidates are also evaluating the organization’s professionalism, communication, and engagement. As someone who has experience interviewing C-suite executives, I value intentional, focused conversations that allow both parties to assess fit. Even in brief introductory calls, active listening, visible engagement, and thoughtful follow-up questions make a significant difference in the quality of the interaction. Since then, I received an email stating that I was not a fit for this role and that my resume would remain on record in case future opportunities came up... Constructive feedback: Ensure interviewers are present and engaged during candidate interactions. Simple actions such as eye contact, maintaining attention, minimizing distractions, and fostering a conversational environment would better reflect the company’s culture and professionalism. Overall, the experience felt rushed and lacked the level of engagement typically expected in a professional interview setting.
